Getting to talk to people who had gone through or were going through the same things as me was so important as I was coming out. A lot of people are overwhelmed in our world. There’s information everywhere, and sometimes people try to help by suggesting books, reports, or publications you should read. Reading is not the only way to understand more about gender. Multimedia, like learning through online videos, felt a lot more accessible to me. Or there’s conferences or groups. Information comes from a lot of places.
